Star was born in South Carolina and lived in Northern Virginia. She was loved and cared for and made such a huge impact on our lives. In February 2024 Star fell ill and had labored breathing and we found out that she had a rare form of lymphoma called T-cell lymphoma.

She fought valiantly and inspired us in so many different ways. We wanted to put this together to remember Star but also the many ways our family hopes to continue her impact her legacy. While it's not a medical resource, we hope that it helps anyone that is going on their own journey of cancer with loved ones. Remember you are a great "dog dad," "dog mom," brother, sister, grandpa or grandma.

We loved her dearly and miss her and we thank God and her for all that she's done. This is our way for her memory to live on.
